Distorting clouds (My spring break)
A Sonnet by Brianna Tremaine

I wonder how much you are missing me.
If you could manage i do not know how.
And now i know the cost of true loves fee,
I could see the discomfort on your brow.

So where are you now? Only in my dreams.
Those baby blue eyes so close yet so far.
Why are you always a heartbeat from me?
It seems that our love is crossed by the stars.

I'm home, on my knees, no one for comfort.
My family has left me all alone.
Out the window i watch the clouds distort.
As people say, "My house is not my home"

Without you all i know is my pasts pain.
The constant wreckage of hate and disdain.

  1. Brianna,

One tip of the hat is that you were so descriptive.
    You seem very conflicted.
One wag of the finger is you didn't tell us what you did on spring break.
But you do seem like you have a big heart ache.

  2. Your poem was descriptive and well thought out
Overall it was really great, I could feel your ache
However, from others it took a different route
I feel it didn’t quite explain what you did on spring break

  3. I thought the poem was great
However its a bit too sad
I'd give it a Ten out of Eight
I think its the best you had
